The workshop entitled Leveling Up Your Products Charm was held on Saturday, March 16 2024 by ISTTS in collaboration with SMA Frateran. This workshop took place in the Frateran hall and this workshop was attended by approximately 100 children from Frateran High School. This workshop has provided a valuable contribution in developing participants' insight and skills in facing increasingly competitive market challenges in this digital era.
In this workshop, participants not only gain insight into the importance of packaging design and marketing techniques, but are also invited to be directly involved in the process of making product packaging. Sessions led by experts in the field provide an in-depth understanding of the various aspects that need to be considered in creating attractive and functional packaging.
This workshop began with an opening by the Frateran, namely Mrs. Tina, who delivered a few words of speech, then continued with a Packaging Knowledge session by Mr. Yohanes Firananta Setyo, S.T., M.M. who discussed how to design products correctly and of course the products made are products that are useful for man. The products sold will definitely be packaged, all products must be number one because there is no product that is not number one with a more attractive marketing method in terms of packaging, for example McD Kids Meal, Toblerone chocolate, bottled cola, Konghuan.
This activity was continued with a creative package session by Mr. Detyo Cempoko, S.T., M.Sn. continues this theme by providing insight into creative ways to design product packaging. Participants are invited to think outside the box and produce designs that are unique and attractive to consumers. This workshop not only provides theoretical knowledge, but also provides practical experience with a technical workshop session explained by Mr. Alan David Prayogi, S.T., M.T, how to make the design, how to make the packaging into a good item and so on for the children. Then there will be practical work on making packaging for this product and the atmosphere will become very lively, lots of children discussing, working together, exchanging opinions.
then after that the workshop continued with a sales technique session by Mrs. Ardalina Luvitasari S.Ds., M.I.Kom. which explains the positive and negative sides of online sales that the positive side of online sales is wide reach, low operational costs, time flexibility, easy analytical measurements and market access can be specific then for the negative side there is tight competition, dependence on technology, security risks and etc. and given tips and tricks on building consumer trust starting from online reputation, reviews and testimonials as well as responses to consumer feedback and then taught promotional strategies with discounts and special offers for customer loyalty programs.
Finally, this workshop closed with an assessment and appreciation session for the participants' work in making product packaging. The participants were given the opportunity to present the products they had packaged and explain the concepts and strategies they applied in the process of making the packaging. This is not only a moment to appreciate the creativity and hard work of participants, but also as a means to provide feedback and constructive suggestions from experts and fellow participants.
Overall, the "Leveling Up Your Products Charm" workshop organized by ISTTS in collaboration with SMA Frateran succeeded in providing valuable insight and skills for participants in developing competitive products and marketing strategies in today's digital era. It is hoped that, through the knowledge and skills obtained in this workshop, participants can produce products that are innovative and able to compete globally.
