These are the Five Prohibitions for Cyclists Being Designed by the Ministry of Transportation

MOJOK.CO - The large number of cyclists has finally forced Kemenhub to discuss the regulation of biking activities.

Cycling was initially just an ordinary recreational activity. Some make it a routine at work. He became an activity that did not have many rules.

But, of course, things can change, especially after the "bike" country attacks.

Since the Corona pandemic, cycling has really found its momentum. People flocked to cycling in joy. It becomes a kind of outlet for people whose space is indeed more limited since the corona broke out.

The number of cyclists passing on the streets is increasing. Ketiban bicycle shops Pulung. Bicycle sales rose rapidly. From the cheapest bicycles that have hard saddles such as the SD Inpres bench, to super-expensive bikes that by looking at the bars of the wheels alone are enough to make people barely salaried.

As a result of the increasing number of cyclists inevitably forced the Ministry of Transportation to start making rules that are intended for cyclists.

The Ministry of Transportation, through the Director General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, Budi Setiyadi, on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 stated that it was preparing regulations to cover cyclists whose numbers actually rose very rapidly.

There are a number of proposed regulatory materials, but one of the highlights of many cyclists is about five specific restrictions that must be obeyed by bikers.

These prohibitions include: First, cyclists are prohibited from adding accessories to transport passengers unless the bike is designed to have a passenger seat.

Second, cyclists are prohibited from using or operating mobile phones while riding a bicycle. If you want to operate your cellphone, then the cyclist must stop. Can play mobile phones while cycling, as long as the bicycle is static alias standard two and stays in place.

Third, cyclists are prohibited from using umbrellas when driving except traders. If the cyclist still insists on using an umbrella, the pillion behind him must be fitted with siomay cartons, so that he becomes a trader.

Fourth, the driver's rate is not allowed to co-exist with other vehicles unless it is determined by traffic signs.

Fifth, cyclists are prohibited from speeding by lined up on the highway more than two people.

According to Budi Setiyadi, regulations from the Ministry of Transportation, one of which regulates the prohibition of cyclists will go through the public testing process next week, so that in the near future, this cyclist regulation can be released immediately and began to be socialized.

Well, for the cyclists, get ready. After this, cycling will be the same.
